The upcoming American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) Convention
The upcoming American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) Convention
By:
Wendy Tao, B.Sc., Student Representative
I am getting ready to go to the 2010 AANP Convention in Portland, Oregon. This will be my first time attending and working at this convention and I’m looking forward to the four days of promoting, networking, education and celebration of the 25
th anniversary of the organization. Bioclinic Naturals will have a booth there to feature its 29 evidence-based premier supplemental products. I’ll be working in the booth and attending as many seminars as possible as my schedule allows. Personally, I am really looking forward to Dr. Joe Pizzorno’s, clinician of our Scientific Advisory Board talk on “The Foundation for Tomorrow’s Medicine”. One of my classmates will be down there presenting FIMAfrika, a non-profit organization delivering integrated medical services to remote and impoverished communities living in Northern Kenya. Some of the senior students will be going there for the ZRT cup; so this is a very special event that I will be able to connect with the students in our school and hopefully meeting some new ones. Please come by and say hello if you’re at the conference. I’d love to meet and talk with other students from different schools and future colleagues.
